Geographically, Ukraine sits at the centre of Europe, specifically the actual centre is in Dilove village near Rakhiv town in the Carpathian mountain’s of Western Ukraine. just three hours flight time from the U.K. Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, is the most beautiful city of all the post – soviet countries. The so called “Mother of all Slavic cities”, steeped in history and rich in culture. Kiev is an ancient city where old meets new and East meets West.
Temperate continental; Mediterranean only on the southern Crimean coast. Precipitation disproportionally distributed, highest in west and north, less in east and southeast. Winters vary from cool along the Black sea to cold further inland. Summers are warm across the greater part of the country, hot in the south.

Parliament of Ukraine:
The Verkhovna Rada (Parliament of Ukraine) has 450 members, elected for a four-year term. Prior to 2006, half of the members were elected by proportional representation and the other half by single-seat constituencies. Starting with the March 2006 parliamentary election, all 450 members of the Verkhovna Rada were elected by party-list proportional representation. The Verkhovna Rada initiates legislation, ratifies international agreements, and approves the budget.
